CJRB Pyrite Mimikyu Theme

Customer commission for a Mimikyu themed knife with personalization. This is one of my most ambitious brushwork images so far, and I am very happy with how it came out. I swapped the steel clip for a titanium clip and incorporated it into the backside graphic (which features Mimikyu’s fierce attack swipe). Sparkles set off the edges and clipside graphics. The blade etch came out so good. I drew the stars and swirls by hand in the style of other Mimikyu artwork. The personalized side came out absolutely perfect with a hand-drawn name and Mimikyu silhouette, but I won’t post it to maintain the owner’s privacy. This was done with multiple masks, dips, and re-etches. No lasers were used.
